[Sunday Sayings] …from the desk of Darrell Dean – October 13, 2019

Greetings,

Welcome to this week’s “Sunday Sayings” newsletter.

Each Sunday I usually share with you some motivational stuff I came across in my travels during the past week.  But since tomorrow is “Thanksgiving Day” here in Canada, I thought I’d send you some of my own thoughts.  As always please feel free to leave a comment.

Back many years ago when I was running a network marketing company I had the opportunity to travel to Minnesota, United States, to attend a weekend training session with Theresa Romain.

Although the training was geared to motivate the participants in operating a more successful business, Theresa spent a lot of time talking about two key principles:

1) The value of being grateful and satisfied with what you currently have.

2) The value of serving others.

So…are you grateful?  Are you thankful for what you have achieved and accomplished so far in your journey?  Sometimes we – myself included – are so focused on future goals, we stop to count our many blessings.  I recommend you stop and think about all the good things in your life – and be grateful.

Similarly, does your business goals include maximizing value to your customers?  If you are like me, I have to remind myself to focus on serving others.  When we do that, and stop focusing on how much money we can make, then it’s amazing how much more successful we become.  I recommend you stop focusing on money, and place more value on serving others each and every day.

Thank you so much for being part of my journey.  I am grateful for your participation and support.

Warm regards,

Darrell Dean
